I have been playing volleyball for 12 years. What got me into beach volleyball was just love for the sport, watching it on TV back when I was a kid, and then being able to play it for a little bit of time when I lived in Chicago.
What's really frustrating with my game is my scoring and my attacking and I think Mark has really improved my scoring and my jump serving as well.
What's unique about Mark's coaching that's helped me is his detail to individualize, and in a group of people where he’ll be able to pinpoint something really small that I do, that I can work on, and it really helped.
My serving has definitely improved in my game, and my confidence on the defensive level has improved in my game since taking the classes.
What I love about beach volleyball is the sun, some solar power that actually helps me a lot, and also the non-impact sport on my joints and my knees.
